An Interesting Case

The reason I think this case became so popular was due to the discrepancies within the case. Arias had originally stated that there had been intruders in the house and that they were attacked, yet later described the situation as an attack on her and her life in which she was only culpable of self defense. What also made this case interesting was the fact that the prosecutor wanted to have Arias sentenced to death. Now that Arias was found guilty of the murder of Travis Alexander, the verdict of whether or not she will live must be delivered and after a mistrial in the initial hearing we are now six years after the murder. This case had also compiled a debt for taxpayers stacking up close to 2.5 million dollars. Due to the length of the case as well as the amount of money spent on it, this case has become interesting to the public and should continue to gain interest as a verdict is finally given for Arias.
