Helpful Hagrid

For my blog I decided to go with a character that kind of stood to the side of the big picture but was a huge part of helping Harry deal with everything that was going on. He was the kind of big hearted characters that every book needs, showing love to someone he barley knows in person. This is why when I was reading Harry Potter I noticed that nothing would have happened for Harry if it wasn’t for Hagrid even though sometimes he messed things up. He was the one to tell Harry Potter about the truth behind his family and introducing him to everyone in the magical world beyond muggles. Hagrid is also the most truthful friend Harry makes in his first year at Hogwarts. Being able to find someone as Hagrid is a blessing itself. When Harry needs help talking through his problems Hagrid is always there for Harry, even when Harry is in trouble Hagrid tries his best to be at Harry's side. Throughout the book you can see that the friendship Harry and Hagrid have is only going to get stronger throughout the years together at Hogwarts even though they are two completely different creatures. All Hagrid wants it to make sure Harry fulfills his destiny of becoming the best wizard he can.

  1. Hagrid is also one of my favorite characters throughout this series. He is a gentle giant that loves Harry unconditionally. We could all use someone like Hagrid in out lives. Hagrid is very instrumental in teaching Harry about the wizarding world. He also teaches Harry a lot about life. He helps fill in the father role that Harry is missing.

  2. Hagrid is a rather interesting character in the Harry Potter series. There is no doubt that Harry and Hagrid share a special bond. Hagrid was the one who brought Harry to Godrics Hollow in the being of the series and he was also the one to introduce him to the wizarding world. It's interesting to see how Harry's and Hagrid's relationship builds throughout the book and even throughout the series. Hagrid becomes part of the family Harry is missing.

  3. Id have to agree and say that Hagrid played a vital role in Harry's future as a wizard. Hagrid is truly a gentle giant and is sort of a family member to Harry. It is very interesting that Hagrid is the one who takes Harry away from the world of wizardry, yet is also the one to reintroduce him. I believe this is a sense of foreshadowing of how vital of a role Hagrid plays in the book to Harry's well being.
