To relate back to the quote that Professor Scott mentioned,
I do believe curiosity is in our genes. We are curious about our surroundings, if
it's the taste of something or why someone wore a pink shirt that day. As
humans we enjoy learning about the world around us. Curiosity brings a whole
new spectrum to life; thoughts go to curiosity which creates inventions which
leads us to where we are today. We like adventure, we like to know details and
we want to step into the unknown to calm our thoughts. If people weren't curious
or wondered about the unknown where would we be now? Would technology even be a
word? Would we get around with a horse and buggie? Humans continuously need curiosity
in life or we are going to be living the life that we do now, nothing new will
happen. We were curious about sex in space, so that led us to the two suits
that become one for sex to be possible in space. This brought the thought of
creating life to another planet. Having curiosity will create bigger and better
things in the future.
I agree. I also think curiosity is in our genes. It seems to be something that we can't get away from. We have been curious species since the very beginning and I believe will always continue to be. Technology has only helped move along our curiosity. The more technology advances, it seems the more our curiosity advances as well.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you in the fact that we would never improve or change in the way we live now. We certainly need curiosity in our lives. Without it, it poses a very interesting question, “where would be now?” because this is all we know and we know where we have come from history and we know about our past but where would be actually be without curiosity is a question no one can actually answer. Curiosity is certainly in our genes whether we know it or not. Good post.
