The universe is like a mythical beast. Some things are known
about it, while there is also much mystery around this being. The universe
should also not be trifled with; it is often unpredictable, and it can be very
dangerous. Today, we know quite a bit about the universe through observation
and testing, but it is a mere fraction of what could be known. Like the
mystical beast, it should be treated with caution and respect. Those who try to
engage with the universe with little understanding or consideration will most
likely end up dead. No matter the control placed within a situation in space,
there is always a danger lurking. The space station or ship could have a fire,
a person could drown from water enveloping the face, or air leakages may take
place. No matter how much we know, people are like fish out of water in
something like space. Like this beast, the universe holds a never ending
interest. People throughout the ages have been looking to the sky to interpret
their lives and hypotheses. With that, fascination and danger have a very
delicate dance. Those willing to explore outside of Earth may experience some
of the greatest views, findings or overall experiences, but the danger is
present. The reality of the universe is that it is creation, and with creation
there are a spectrum of possibilities. These possibilities are both negative
and positive, but the balancing act continues. Those who aim to find out more
about the universe, will have to wade the edge of knowledge and death.
hi Samuel, I really enjoy reading your post. I like your thoughts about the universe. Trying to understand how the universe is nearly impossible. I agree with you that exploring outside of Earth is very dangerous. exploring the universe is like walking into an ambush at a battle field. you are clueless as to what would happen. there is a possibilities that you might not survive the trip.
ReplyDeleteNice post! I agree with you on how leaving the Earth is dangerous but just imagine the feeling when you’re up there. You have to be aware of everything that could happen or go wrong but if we as a population always thought about that then we would not have discovered all that we have already. It is good to think about how dangerous it is and yes people can die but people can die doing lots of different things. But it most certainly is a mythical beast.
