Little at a Time

When reading Packing for Mars it makes you think about everything someone can find in space. The Universe is full of many things that nobody will ever be able to completely know everything that it holds. Just being able to see what we do get to see in space is just some of what is out there. Being able to have the privilege and the technology that we have today to be able to make all of our lives easier is what people are most worried about. I feel that the universe is full of many important creations that we might be able to come across someday just like being able to go to space. Although I feel that some of what the universe holds will never be found. All the people in the world will not know everything they should before they die; it is kind of the same with what we will know about the universe and what it means to us. Some can say that the universe holds our lives in its grip, others might just say it is somewhere we are for know. This is because we are acknowledged about the potential that it holds or we haven’t found it yet. The universe has many stories to tell us but we have to figure the stories out by clues that it leaves us throughout the years. If we are smart enough to be able to figure the clues out we might be able to know a little more each time about our wonderful universe.

  1. I know it is almost impossible, even in the future, to see what is truly out there in the universe, but I hope one day we can because I am sure there are some beautiful and magical things. What we have captured in pictures are extraordinary and I can't even imagine what else is out there.

  2. Your lines are great to read Chrissie. Indeed, there are many secrets waiting to be found, which outside of pure excitement, could mean a whole new game plan for the people looking up on earth. Even the idea of the Mars rovers taking new geologic samples, might yield some new metal which changes our world here. Sadly too, like you spoke of, many secrets will never be known by the generation walking around today, or perhaps ever. It's so odd, yet so magnificent, to be right next to such unknown greatness, when we've come to be so familiar with what is around us presently.

  3. As I read all of these posts, everyone including my own, suggests we will never know everything about the universe....I wonder what 'everything' is? What are we missing and what we will never know? We never thought we'd get to space or on the moon and that happened. We always think of things as impossible until the happen, then we move onto the next challenge. So who knows what we will discover by the time our great great grandchildren are researching the Universe. People are very curious so I do not think the crave of knowledge, especially from something so vast and mystery as the universe, will ever stop.
