The Universe?

We have spent years trying to figure out what the Universe holds, yet with all this technology we have invented and tried out we still are in the dark on it. I'm not sure we are ever supposed to figure out what truly is out there in the really never ending universe. A vast never ending learning experience is how I would describe the universe. With every  learning experience there is sacrifices that have to be made, just depends on who is willing to make sacrifices. Like they say "Curiosity killed the cat" so how much curiosity do we allow to happen for personal sacrifices?
