The Universe is a Mystery...

I found "Packing for Mars" to be an interesting novel that honestly left me at the edge of my seat. There are so many things about the universe that are unknown to everybody out in the world. For me, I think that the universe is a mystery that will never be solved. I cannot help but compare the universe to life in a sense. Life is completely unknown. What is going to happen and when that even will take place is all a part of a puzzle that none of us are able to fully put together until something happens in our lives. The universe holds the same concept. The world exists. Planets exists. Other universes exist. Even though each of these things do exist, none of us will ever fully understand what it consists of and what makes the universe operate completely. Each person living in the universe has a different take on different aspects of it and many people can take their thoughts and turn them into something concrete by exploring what the universe holds; however, there is also going to be something new that people want to learn about this universe and many of these questions will continue to be unsolved or argued over by different people. There are also going to be questions that surface, but it does not necessarily mean that the complete answer and truth will come out of it. We are so limited to how much we are able to explore this universe that some of the questions people have will have to continue to be unknown due to this lack of knowledge about the world. I cannot help but compare the universe to life and how much of a mystery both seem to be to me. So, for me, I think the universe is a mysterious life puzzle that will never be completely put together.

  1. Great post Tristin! I also agree that the universe is like life. It seems to be a great unknown just like life is. We learn more about each when things happen. I don't think we will ever know the answer to either life or the universe. There are too many unknowns to each. We can only hope to possibly solve the puzzles as they come in front of us.

  2. Tristin,
You article was a fantastic read! I can definitely relate to you with they way I think of the universe. I liked how you stated "For me, I think that the universe is a mystery that will never be solved." I feel the same way. It is so difficult for us to actually be able to discover everything in the universe or why it does the things it does. When I think of the universe it is so unimaginable to think of all the things placed within it and its operation. Everyday we make progress towards finding new things however, I do not think we will completely discover everything. The way I see it, is that it is hard telling not knowing with what is out there.
