A Night Out

Many of us on a Friday or Saturday night will head out either to a friends house for a gathering or maybe even a club or bar. While out you meet someone, either hangout with a friend who introduced you or just by introducing yourself. During your conversation you mention something about your Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, (insert social media site), and you decide to check it out. If you are lucky the person's page isn't private and you can start to browse through it immediately. If you are like me, your page is of course private and therefore needing of a friend/follower request. I say this because due to social networking we can find out massive amounts of information about someone we barely know, just through a few minutes of searching around. The amount of information you broadcast on a daily basis makes it easier for people to figure out wether or not you may have mutual friends or if they just lied to you about where they were last weekend. The fact that you can obtain so much information about someone so quickly may lead faster friendships, but could quite possibly lead to the opposite in the event that they disagree with something you have posted. Because of these vast changes in technology, it has changed the way in which we interact and will most likely continue to do so unless social networking fades to a different form of interaction.
