There are many ways that internet has ruined intimacy and I
am going into some of those topics. One major way it has ruined intimacy.
People use to be able to make verbal trusted deals they could be made through
word. Now yes, you have proof of deals from texts but now what you say anybody
can read it so trust is more tested. That’s just one prime example but a major
one is younger people who get their cellphones at such a young age and using internet
sites. They are not experiencing a lot of real personal contact interactions
because they are experiencing their communication through texting and the web.
Therefore, they do not engage in mature conversations throughout the years as
others do. And we use all of these sites so we can create relationships without
ever talking or meeting before they create a seriously committed relationship.
It isn’t like the good days where you have to talk to the others in person and
forced to get to know them on a personal level. Also, all of these internet
sites cause people to go outside less; they don’t just play sports for fun as
much as they use to in the past. They do not bond a lot because while they are
together they are on their phones fifty percent of the time they are with one
another. Thus, the internet and cell phones have restricted human contact and
maturing. Through life, we form human relationship that have less private conversations.
We now have difficulty developing true personal relationships with other
human-beings.
